GTA 6 sets new "confirmed" date—and why your wallet should be nervous

GTA 6 has a confirmed release date of November 19, 2026, with PC players facing additional delays.
If you’ve been refreshing Rockstar’s socials like it’s a morning ritual, good news: there’s finally something solid to sip on. GTA 6 is now set for November 19, 2026. Yes, another wait, but at least there’s a date to circle before you emotionally prepare your bank account.
The game lands first on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. PC players, you know the drill; Rockstar loves a delayed PC rollout, and current whispers place that anywhere from late 2027 to mid-2028. Hope you’re patient.
What you’ll pay
Prices are already a hot topic. Analysts expect the standard edition in the US to start at $69.99, though nobody would be shocked to see $79.99 or even $99.99 thanks to the decade-long development. Special editions could slide up to $149.99. Other regions are expected to follow similar climbs, but Saudi Arabia’s availability and pricing remain unclear due to stricter content rules.
Rockstar has not officially revealed editions, but past trends paint a familiar picture. A Standard Edition appears to include the base game. A Special or Deluxe Edition may throw in bonus GTA$, flashy vehicles, weapons, properties, and cosmetics. Feeling fancy? The Collector’s Edition could deliver physical treasures like a steelbook, art book, and map, because nothing says crime sandbox like a coffee-table book.
Fresh GTA 6 sneak
Gameplay teases from early trailers have shown an upgraded Vice City, now bigger, brighter, and far more explorable. Two protagonists, Jason and Lucia, take center stage, making Lucia the first female lead in the series. Their chemistry even gets tracked through a love meter, which sounds adorable until you remember this is GTA.
You will likely be able to pre-book somewhere between May and June 2026. Trailer 2 is expected early next year, because Rockstar knows exactly how to keep us hooked. Until then, brace yourself. GTA 6 news and GTA 6 updates are about to take over the internet again.
